Join us this Christmas for a festive wine tasting at one of Yorkshire’s most beautiful vineyard

Candlelight, sparkling wine, artisan cheese and six seriously good wines. A bit of luxury, a lot of festive magic, and the perfect excuse to indulge in the good stuff.

Set in the beautiful tasting room at Knotfield Vines in Rawdon, Leeds, this special Christmas wine tasting is all about celebrating the season in style, discovering brilliant wines and enjoying delicious cheese pairings.

We’ll kick off the evening with a glass of Knotfield Sparkling, as vineyard owners Sophie and Laura share the story behind their wine and all the love that goes into making it.

Then, we’re off on a festive wine adventure with five more wines from around the world, spanning white, rosé, orange, red and fortified styles.

Fancy cradling a glass of Barolo or sipping a gorgeous Grand Cru Chablis? You’re in the right place. We’ll be exploring some traditional beauties, alongside a few killer discoveries that might just become your new favourites.

Of course, no indulgent wine tasting would be complete without ninja cheese!

We’ll be pairing the wines with three artisan cheese pairings, brought to you by The Cheeseboard of Harrogate. Expect thoughtful combinations, gorgeous cheeses and some 'elevage'😉- when a wine and a bite of cheese make each other taste even better.

Add in the candlelit setting, the vineyard atmosphere and a glass of something sparkling, and you’ve got a rather special way to get into the Christmas spirit.

Come for the wine, leave a little more wine-savvy.

This isn’t just about drinking lovely wine (although there’ll be plenty of that!).

Your tasting will be hosted by Sophia Luckett, Wine Educator, who’ll bring each bottle to life with geeky wine details, wine maps and stories from the regions behind the wines.

We’ll explore the grapes, the places they grow and what makes each wine taste the way it does, giving you a little more knowledge to take home. The kind that helps you discover more of what you love, choose bottles with confidence and find new favourites long after the Christmas decorations come down.
