The WSET Level 1 Award in Wines is a fun and engaging one-day introduction to the world of wine.
During the day you will taste 10+ wines while learning the essential foundations of wine knowledge in a relaxed, sociable environment.
By the end of the course you’ll feel confident navigating restaurant wine lists, choosing bottles in a shop, and pairing wine with food.

45-minute exam

The course takes place in their beautiful new wine shop and bar in central Harrogate, providing the perfect setting for learning about wine.
We will also showcase a selection of fantastic wines from the Ake & Humphris shelves, giving you the chance to taste quality wines chosen by experienced local merchants.
