What areas do you cover for wine tasting events?

I am based in West Yorkshire and host wine tasting events across Bradford, Leeds, Ilkley, Harrogate, Otley, Skipton and surrounding areas. I regularly travel to homes, offices, bars and hospitality venues throughout Yorkshire. Outside of West Yorkshire I charge 45p a mile and travel time. Happy to share more details upon request.

What types of events do you offer?

I host private wine tastings, corporate wine events, team-building experiences and hospitality training sessions. I also deliver wine tastings and education for bars and restaurants, as well as WSET qualification courses and bespoke trade training.

Are your wine tastings suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! My wine tastings are designed to be engaging and accessible for all levels, from complete beginners to confident wine drinkers. Everything is explained clearly, without jargon or intimidation, so everyone can enjoy the experience and learn something new.

Do you offer corporate wine tasting events?

Absolutely. Corporate wine tastings are ideal for team building, client entertainment, staff rewards and corporate hospitality. Events can be relaxed and social or more structured and educational, depending on your needs.

How many people can attend a wine tasting?

Wine tastings can be hosted for groups of any size, from an intimate experience for two guests to large-scale events for 100 or more people. All events are tailored to the group and venue, with a minimum spend of £500. This allows the format, wines and experience to be designed properly around your budget and occasion.

Where do the wine tastings take place?

Wine tastings can be hosted in your home, office, bar, restaurant or private venue. I regularly work with venues across Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, Ilkley and the wider Yorkshire area.

What is included in a wine tasting event?

Each event includes a guided tasting of six to seven fine wines, carefully selected to showcase different styles and regions. Events also include thoughtfully matched cheese pairings, typically two to three cheeses served with premium crackers, chosen to elevate the wines and enhance the overall experience. Everything can be tailored to suit your preferences and the style of your event.

Do you provide the wine?

Yes, wine is usually supplied as part of the event. However, I can work with an existing wine selection or venue list. This can be discussed during the booking process to suit your preferences and budget. 

Can you tailor a wine tasting to our group?

Yes. Every event is bespoke. Tastings can be tailored around themes such as food pairing, wine confidence, blind tasting, specific regions or styles, or simply a relaxed, fun evening with great wine.

How much does a private or corporate wine tasting cost?

Private and corporate wine tastings start from £40 per person, with a minimum spend of £500. Pricing varies depending on group size, location and format, as all events are tailored to suit your needs. I take on a limited number of private and corporate bookings and position these as premium, bespoke experiences. Please get in touch for a personalised quote.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for corporate events and popular dates. Availability is limited as I also deliver WSET courses and trade training.

Do I need to print off my ticket to come to an event? 

Nope! I have all the details I need online so you just need to bring yourself and thirst for wine and knowledge! 

Should I eat before coming to a wine tasting?

I'd recommend it. Most wine tasting including some cheese, but not enough to line the stomach and look after your tolerance!

 

Covid-19: Are live wine tasting events taking place?

Currently all tasting events are online, however there are plans to return to live events again. Please enquire with me if you're interested in booking a live private wine tasting

How do private online wine tastings work?

There are two formats - 

OPTION 1 

BYO tastings - after choosing a theme, I'll send you a list of wines to purchase (these will be easily accessible for everyone!)

You get wines and my time is a flat rate fee for any group size.You will be sent a link and password to a private Zoom tasting.

OPTIONS 2

Wine and cheese delivered to your door. You choose a theme and I'll sort out the rest. Delivery can be made for any group size. 

Wine delivery packages include 3 bottles of quality wine and start at £40 per head including delivery + a flat rate presenter's fee for my time. 

You will be sent a link and password to a private Zoom tasting

 

Do I pay for the delivery of my wine and cheese?

For all online events, postage has been included in the price.
